This hotel takes it's name from Marie de Medici who built the nearby Luxembourg Palace, and is also convenient for the rest of the Latin Quarter and the Seine isalands. The reception is elegant and welcoming, with a log fire in winter, and in summer breakfast is served in a lovely garden area. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with furniture specially designed for the hotel. All have very nice private bathrooms.
