Frequently asked questions: |
| 1)
Is it really worth booking a hotel room in advance? Yes. Paris is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, and despite a huge number of hotels it is worth booking well ahead to get a hotel at the price and in the location you want. It is best to reserve at least a month or two in advance, especially for high season. Even if you prefer to choose a hotel when you get there, it's a good idea to have at least your first night's stay booked in advance. 2) What happens if I have to cancel my booking? Most hotels will take a deposit equivalent to the cost of your first night's stay when you make your reservation. This can be done by credit card. How much or whether this sum is refunded will depend on how far in advance you notify the hotel of cancellation, and will vary from one hotel to another. When you make your reservation we will inform you of the cancellation policy of the hotel you have booked. For full details, see Terms and Conditions. 3) Are there any other costs? There are no charges other than our booking fee and the rate of the hotel as shown on our site. Prices quoted for hotels are all inclusive and will be confirmed when you make your booking. Breakfast is not usually included in the price of your room, and you will often end up paying less and eating better at one of the many Parisian cafes. Be sure to tell the hotel if you are not taking breakfast. 4) Why do you charge a booking fee? We believe in transparency. By using our service you can be sure that the hotel rates shown are the standard rates, with nothing added on. It also enables us to offer the smaller and often the most sought after hotels, which are unavailable through large booking networks. 5) When are the high and low seasons and how does that affect prices? Hotel prices in Paris can vary between high and low season. High season is from May to June and September to October, low season from November to March. We will inform you if the price of a hotel is different from that shown on this website, and ask for your acceptance before confirming your booking. 6) What happens if the hotel I have chosen is unavailable? If this happens we will contact you by e-mail to offer a suitable alternative in the same range of price, quality and location. You are under no obligation to accept this alternative if you do not wish, and there will be no charge to you.
